Develop a Love for Cooking and Good Food. Get ready for a culinary journey full of fun and flavor! In our exciting workshop, we will embark on a gastronomic adventure designed to awaken a passion for cooking and nutrition in the little ones. Ready to discover the delicious world of flavors and textures? Our goal is simple but powerful: inspire children to fall in love with cooking and healthy eating. How will we achieve it? With activities full of energy and learning such as: Cooking Fundamentals and Basic Nutrition: – Learn to use basic tools and appliances, knives, cutting boards, pots, pans, blender, food processor and oven. – Hygiene and safety, hand washing and safe food storage. – Simple recipes, salads, soups, pastas, rice, meats and desserts. – Learn about essential nutrients and the functions of each nutrient. – Learn to read labels and prepare a balanced menu. Basic culinary techniques – Cooking, grilling (BBQ) and baking techniques, cutting techniques and temperature management. – Avoid burnt or raw foods. Exploring international cuisines – Simple recipes, less than 30 minutes, explained step by step and you get a recipe book created in classes, in addition to tasting what we prepare daily. Creativity and presentation – Learn to decorate your favorite dishes. – Combination of main dishes and desserts. Workshop includes digital portfolio with all the recipes learned.
